    vibrate and rotary pump?
Jan 21st, 2009, 7:13pm Does anyone know, how does vibrate and rotary pump works? [/QUOTE]

    hey tony,

i believe the main difference between vibrating and rotay pumps is rotary pumps provide full pump pressure instantly to the group head and vibrating pumps go through a build up of pressure over a few seconds.

    should be solenoid pump.
    Reciprocating Piston Pump actually....

If you do a site specific search using Google, more than 300 results from CoffeeSnobs is returned.... a la "rotary pump site: coffeesnobs.com.au"

    Hi Tony,

A small article by someone making a intercooler sprayer for their turbo car using a espresso machine pump! I thought that I was mad!
It sort of explains how a vibrating pump works.

I personally think that the term "vibrating" is incorrect, should be solenoid pump.

    Re: vibrate and rotary pump?

I did a search and I got a total of three results for "rotary pump". No result told me how they worked.

This is one of the most frustrating things I have found as a newbie.
Please, please I mean no offense at all but search is not my friend.
Maybe I am doing something wrong, I dont know. It is my impression that people have forgotten what it is like as a newbie. Again I am not pointing any fingers at all. I dont know how to put this point across without offending.
Having said that I have most people have been trying to be very helpful.

    Any way back on topic.
Try this site for rotary pumps http://www.pumpschool.com/principles/internal.htm
