Well, I went somewhere for a coffee in Brissie today which I am sure will qualify for the aforementioned description in time.

Will be writing it up in the appropriate place.

Yep have two within walking distance of Home...

It would be a silly place to do it... we dont like spammers at CoffeeSnobs eh!

If you are looking for somewhere good try the "good coffee where" threads as they posted by trusted CoffeeSnobs will at least 50 posts... not sales dudes looking for a free plug.

Yeah, I thought the same thing.
However, if it is, Im sure they were hoping for more responses like "Oh if ONLY there was such a place"
Instead they have a lot of - "Oh if you want that, then just go here or here or here..."

As Andy said, if this is the intent, its a pretty stupid place to try it.
I fully expected to see another new user with their first post replying to the original with wide-eyed enthusiasm "Oh, dont keep it a secret...".

Advertising people - one rung lower than Car Salesmen, one rung higher than dirt (with apologies to dirt).

Whoa folks, hold your horses. Responses are not quite what I expected.
Suspicion and criticism.
Not surprisingly started by someone who has chosen Homer Simpson as an ICON.
How a little too much commercial television can affect ones character and sole.
The truth is I penned that statement Imagine about 10 years ago when I had the Café that delivered the possible. It is my hope to open that place again one day.
I do have a cafe related goods distribution business and a water filter company.
I have asked CS for details on sponsorship and fully understand to not promote your business in this forum.
Imagine is a statement irrelevant to my current business. I was hoping for related comments and possible directions to a Cafe in Queensland that could deliver the possible. I pay for bad coffee experiences all too often.
I have a blog that rewards or shocks café outlets that I visit. Not one mentioned on my blog is a client. I intend to remain unbiased.
My work and leisure time often revolves around all things coffee.
This forum was recommended by family and friends who are members of CS.
Hope this clarifies my intent.
Looking into copyright of Imagine considering some thought it might be a great campaign.
Still searching for the possible. Paul

Mate, considering it was your first post with no previous intro, and going on my experiences in other forums, I think its quite reasonable to hold a slight degree of scepticism. But given your ability to judge my character and sole (?) from my chosen avatar and presumed tv watching habits, Im sure you took that into consideration.

Just a suggestion, but maybe an actual introduction of yourself and what may very well turn out to be something special might have been more effective. As would have been making a character judgement over a coffee or three.

As I said, it sure seemed like a teaser to me.
