Welcome pominoz, great advice from 2mcm.

If you give Andys lot a try and get as far as the sponsors, you wont need to look much further.

    Enjoy the ride !

    Chris

    Hi all,

I am new on here and my brain is already hurting reading all this fab advice ..... ha ha.

Anyhoo, I have just bought my first esperesso machine and am now on the hunt for the best bean and wanting some expert advice.

I know everyone has different tastes but is there any that are definate "must trys" and definate "stay clears"????

Also, where to buy them and if they can be delivered.

    Cheers all
    Hi Pom and welcome!

<<<<<MUST try Andys beans over yonder and the product produced by our many sponsor roasters. They really care about quality and freshness.

MUST avoid. Anything sitting on a supermarket shelf, in an open bucket/bin going stale or sitting in a grimy wall mounted hopper in a place that has no idea what it is or when it was roasted. Im pretty suss on unintelligible roasting codes on packaging as well.

Beware anything with a best before date well into the future. Brown beans do not "mature like a fine wine" or "age gracefully"..

    Enjoy your sampling
