The sister in law visited from Canberra over the weekend. We havent seen her since our trip to Nigeria which was before we started this fantastic journey of home roasting.
She had heard about it but was yet to see and taste what it was all about...
So after a couple of Tunduru/Sidamo/Colombian blends, one straight from the pf as an affogato, and a couple of Yemen Bani Ismails, we had her interesting riding pretty high.
Add to that a look into what she spends on sub par cafe coffee over a year and we had an instant convert.
So on Sunday after a demonstration of how to roast in a bread machine and on a popper, we sent her back off to Canberra with 400g of roasted and 1kg of various greens, and a mission to find a popcorn popper and a hand grinder, and a vow to never buy coffee again ;D
Well we now have another Coffeesnob and I wouldnt be surprised if she pops up on here as well. She took great delight in watching beanbay Saturday night.
And we have another household to add to our expanding list that we buy greens for.
Equally importantly, this also means higher donations to Faircrack [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
