Ground coffee stays fresh for three minutes, so its stale before you even think about regrinding.

Why not use it for seasoning your EM6910 after youve backflushed or descaled it?

Waste not want not without having to drink it 8-)

Can u put ground coffee in your grinder to make it finer??
To summarise: No, unless you want to kill your grinder.

People are often buying my ground coffee
Why not ask these generous people to buy you fresh beans instead.

although I know it will be stale, Id like to use it rather than throw it out.
Why on earth would you want to do that?
It cost you nothing; throw it in the bin; Ive done it; just dont do it when they are looking.

I noticed you called them "people" not "friends".
So you might find it easier to bin it if you realise they dont mean that much to you.
Friends would buy you freshly roasted beans.

Some would argue that the coffee wont be fresh by the time you reground it (if it works......but it wont)

Plunger is the way to go I think.

Is this an excuse for a new grinder?

Use the coffee in a plunger or a syphon if you dont want to throw it out.
On the re-grinding thing, DONT DO IT. You may well destroy your grinder by clogging it up with ground coffee.
    All the best,
    Steve.
EDIT - Damn you guys are quick .

Put it in a mortar and pestle herb thing and give it a going over.

tryed it, did not work. just have to put up with gushers if you want to use it
In addition, its a perfect way to kill a grinder....

People are often buying my ground coffee and although I know it will be stale, Id like to use it rather than throw it out.

Id prefer to use my espresso machine (6910) but obvuiously the grind is too course.

Anyone tried it??? Ive just been given some very nice smelling coffee and dont want it to end up in the bin - plus I need to roast and this would buy me 2 days grace
Working...
