Ive been searching for the differences in appearance between Arabica and Robusta beans.
Is it as easy to identify the roasted beans by shape as the articles seem to imply?
ARABICA: Oval shaped with S shaped crack.
ROBUSTA: Round bean with straight crack.
I have one lot that I suspect are Robusta because of the price, but they dont look any different to another that claims to be 100% Arabica
I cant pick any appreciable taste difference between the two, and the shots look alike, so maybe they are both 100% Arabica.
Any suggestions as to how to differentiate between the two species :
