Glass cup/mug recommendations please?

I am looking for advice and recommendations about glass coffee cups and mugs; which brands are the most durable, and where are the best place to buy them online or in sydney?

Also has anyone used these mugs by Arcoroc? Are they any good?

For me, those are way too big and result in milk drinks that taste only vaguely of coffee.

I like the Duralex glasses here <------ in my avatar. 100 ml and hold a great piccolo latté.

Id second the Duralex - they are made of toughened glass. I bought a set of Duralex Picardie 220ml glasses.- I still have all 6 but they havent been subject to any drop tests - intentional or accidental - but theres no problems putting them in a dishwasher.

I bought mine from Jetblack but Im guessing from your username that you might be from NZ.

you might also like the Bodum Pavina ones - I have a mix of these, Duralex and turkish knockoffs, with the 2nd/3rd ones my usual glasses and bought from Di Bartoli (also got my favourite latte glass free with the machine!)

for shot glasses, i kinda like their graduated ones.

Hi,

I am in the process of testing cups and glasses. I find the basket size affects what size cups glasses you like to use. At the moment I am trying out some Drurex 160ml they are nice to hold and drink from but I like a 1.5 single shot in the glass. So I am using the double basket but stopping it short.

x 3 on the Duralex Picardie glasses - in fact I picked up 6 of the 160mL yesterday from Chefs Warehouse (111 - 115 Albion St, Surry Hills NSW, (02) 9211 4555[ch8206]) for $7.85 total!
