    well then Mal . I stand corrected ..
    it may be a automatic way of thinking that a these thing ( microwaves are bad )
    I dont own one for that reason.
    I have been asked in a cafe , after complainer the coffee was cold
    if Id like it nuked... I said no thanks and left.
    maybe Im a purist

      ShotGun try to get a thermometer.
      Id like to know the difference in temperatures before and after 10 seconds in your microwave.

        I will get a thermometer and try to be more scientific rather than playing it by ear so to speak.

          give the milk a ster before adding the thermometer
          some microwaves heat in different ways
          I remember many yrs ago taking a cup of water out of a microwave
          only to have it erupt like a volcano after adding sugar and giving it a ster .
          found out later that the bottom layer of water was heated hotter than the top layer in the cup ..
