Cupping session number 2 is on for Tuesday (22nd) at 1pm. Ill pick out a couple of Cup of Excellences (maybe a Brazil and El Salvador) and see what else crops up. As always feel free to bring along any of your own blends/single origins youd like to cup.

Tried to roast some small 200gm batches of some singles I have today, but my coretto couldnt handle the small batches, it needs to do at least 400gm per load and I didnt have more than 200gm of ea single. Wanted to bring in a mexican, guatemalan and a brazil that I have. Another time perhaps.

I might roast the Bolivia that we cupped last wed but try two different profiles and cup them, perhaps take one roast to city or full-city. Which reminds me, the Bolivia that Ive roasted previously has been "Montanas Verde", very nice, and very much like the stuff we cupped on Wednesday.

Very keen on your brazil and el salv.. love both origins!

Too bad, we cupped some really nice CoE (four lots) including two el salvs, and two brazils, as well as a non-CoE columbian. We also ended up trying a pour-over of one of the samples which generated even more conversation

Really top-notch coffees, I believe one of the El Salvs was a "Lot 3 bourbon". mmmm

Hey ya, and welcome!

At this time, the only regular cupping that I am aware of is Dimattina on Wednesdays at 1pm, and I think "Ristretto" are still cupping on Friday afternoons (not sure).

Weekend CS cuppings sound like a great idea though!

Hey guys, thanks again for a great session on Tuesday. Next cupping is set for Tuesday (29th) at 1pm. Havent had a chance to look through samples yet but since last time was kind of a Central/South America theme I might try for some nice Africans. Theres definitely some top quality Rwandan CoEs out the back so well see what crops up. Also got some amazing Honduras CoE (Lot#15) that will be peaking for espresso on Tuesday as a special treat
