Sydney trip

Im in Sydney on Wednesday morning and I think I may be able to slip out first thing for a coffee. Ill be at Mecca (cnr of king and york) at 7.15 on Wednesday morning if any CSers want a quick shot or two and a gday.

Unfortunately given the nature of my trip I wont be able to hang about for long and there is a remote possibility I may not make it to the cafe at all - remote though, Ill need my coffee!

I might be able to meet you there Grendel, I am planning to catch up with someone in the city sometime this week so hopefully can work it for Wednesday and that way do some work for an assigment at a different location for a change.
Any excuse to get to the Mecca though, a great espresso bar.

Bugger! Turns out I wont be able to make it The person I am going into the city to meet cant do it on Wednesday so will have to wait for another chance to meet the now famous Grendel Along with other CS members.

My deepest apology Grendel, amateur mistake on my behalf. I am disappointed I cant make it so hopefully there will be a next time. That is if you will still associate with us average Joes next time your in NSW. Is only a matter of time before you get a modelling contract when people see all those pics of you beside your presso on your blog

:P Ive already been offered money by Presso in the UK to photoshop myself out of the picture with their product.

It was great meeting Hazchem at Mecca - terrific to know you can go just about anywhere in Australia and meet up with fellow snobs. MY boss was with me and she seemed quite surprised at how well the information gets around the snob community.

Mecca was great - they do terrific coffee, very impressive. They had the 5-Senses Synesso there as well - I understand it is touring the country at the moment.

It was really good being able to sample coffee from another city - I hope I get a trip to Melbourne next year with a little extra time to slip out to a few of the cafes there.
