        Gambella, Nuggets, and Yirgie.

The fact the gambella roasts so uneven is awesome, its like having its own special little blend. Love having it as a doubble ristretto latte its just magical.

The nuggets are a ripper too with such a different flavour than other base-type beans ive tried.

First time ive tried yirgacheffe too so it had to make it up there. What a delight, and after half the bag was gone i had actually figurered out how to roast it properly

Ditto for me.  The Kona was also amazing as espresso.
I had the Kona in a latte at Yahava Koffeeworks in the Swan Valley on the weekend. I was very impressed, not only with the bean but by the skill of the barista who put it in the cup... Very tasty and Ill be ordering some for sure if it turns up on beanbay again.

I went for the Venezuala San Cristobal, Peru Ceja de Selva and the Costa Rica San Isidro.
            I adored that bean, too.

Was very disappointed to see it sell out last night just before the Beanbay because i was planning to stockpile some.

Me too. I didnt realise that these beans wouldnt stick around forever - was going to order some last night too. Hopefully we can get some more later on, as I only just did my first roast on this last week, and have already gone through half a kilo. Only 2kg to go. I even prefer this one over the Peru Ceja de Selva.

I saw they were getting low throughout the last few weeks but was hoping theyd still be around at Green Sale time so i could kill two birds with one stone.

                Such is life.

                  Good news and bad news.

The good news is we have some great Costa Rica beans bobbing around on a boat somewhere... the bad news is we have some great Costa Rica beans bobbing around on a boat somewhere...

Poll closed. Peru Ceja de Selva a clear winner!

Thanks to Andy for the great beans and we look forward to 2011!
