Has anyone had an recent experience purchasing equipment (mail order) from Sienna Coffee in Western Sydney?
I ordered a rancilio rocky a month ago and received an email over 2 weeks ago that it was tested and was about to be sent. However, since then it has not arrived nor has the amount appeared on my credit card. They don’t respond to emails, website contact form and their phone number is answered by an answering service who take my details but no response.
This morning the answering service felt sorry for me and gave me the mobile numbers of two sales managers. Both phone numbers were disconnected.
I suspect they’ve either folded or had some sort of catastrophic staff turn-over. I ordered my Silvia from them a few years ago and they were ok then, if a bit slow.
I’ve instructed them by email to cancel my order, but I don’t wish to order from another supplier in case they suddenly re-appear and I end up with 2 rockys. Sadly, it seems I’m going to have to put up with poor coffee from the worn burrs of my sunbeam grinder for a bit longer…
