Roasted is fine but not green. Get the peaberry stuff if you can.

    Re: Kona

Mum went to Hawaii recently - went to a Kona co-op - http://www.kpfc.com. She bought 2 coffees for me - a mild roasted Kona peaberry (yum) and a dark roast Kona peaberry, of which I havent tried yet. Just a thought.

Would there be any chance of a smaller quantity
Please remember that for me to offer you any of anything I have to buy it regardless of how much I sell.

...but having said that, when we sell Kona we do so in 1kg lots.

At $150+ for 2.5 Kg I would have to be careful the wife

1/ did not fund any evidence if the price paid. :-X

2/ dose not develop a taste for it. ;D

Would there be any chance of a smaller quantity (say 30 to $50 dollars worth) for those of us that are still waiting on our turn to crack X-lotto?

and was very happy when the customs guy told me they would have gone straight in the bin
You could have bought them back but need an AQIS import permit for the USA. $125 for 12 months and you are allowed to bring 5kg in with you if you are the permit holder... sometimes you can ship up to 5kg but that is far more hit and miss.

Are there any plans for any more Konas?
When we find a good one we grab it, mostly thats once a year but at nearly $60/kg ($3000 a bag!) we dont land much at a time!

    Its on the radar though.

    Kona

    Hi Andy

Just roasted my last 200gms of the Kona Extra Fancy. Not the cheapest bean but so easy to roast and over a range of temperatures the most interesting coffee I have ever had - loved it.

Are there any plans for any more Konas?

    Cheers
