    Re: Spanish latte, how to?

Im pretty sure when i was in Vietnam in 2006, that if you asked for a white coffee there ,that it was basically a shot of coffee from a drip style set up and then condensed milk on top.....I personally liked it !......vietnamese coffee was great i thought, especially black and strong..... I liked the condensed milk take on it.... something different i guess, but prefered that particular coffee black.

    never had a spanish latte....

Be aware that there are close to 1000 calories in a can of condensed milk

I am guessing that there are a number of variations but one I found while googling was

Its equal parts steamed milk and steamed sweetened condensed milk along with your espresso shots.

Might have to get yourself a can of condensed milk and start testing. Be aware that there are close to 1000 calories in a can of condensed milk 8-)

started a topic Spanish latte, how to?

    Spanish latte, how to?

Had one of these at a San Churro store the other day and thought it tasted great. Just wondering if anyone knows how its made?

My initial thoughts (from looking at the contents of the glass) are, 1 or 2 shots of espresso, a small amount of condensed milk, topped up with hot water.
Working...
