So I see on FB that its Golden Bean time again. Has anyone had experience with such event...?

Entered coffee?? If so how did you go?

I thought that this event was in the later half of the year...have they changed the dates?

No they have just opened up registration.. Love to hear peoples experience about previous years..

Has anyone heard of of any results from The Golden Bean Roasting Awards 2011/12

I heard that the 2011 winner of the "Golden Bean" was Dimattina Coffee but Ive not heard anymore than that.

Big conrgats to Dimattina!

The other results will be released on Monday

CoffeeSnobs Roasted picked-up:

Decaf Wow! - Bronze
Australia Mountain Top Rays Selection #789 - Bronze
Tanzania Kyaurinde FairCrack Pulped - Silver.

The last one really brings a tear of joy.  From a village that wasnt producing coffee good enough for export... FairCrack funded a pulper and not only is the coffee great but it won a silver medal. 
8-) TOO COOL.  8-)
Im going to send the medal to the farmers.... they deserve it.

Huge congrats to all the CS Site Sponsors who also scored medals. Cosmorex , Cuppacoffee , Di Bella , Supreme Roasters and Veneziano.
Also big congrats to all the BeanBay customers that scored more than a dozen more medals using CS green beans!
