you mean stinky? Or is this another word thats been adopted by kids and reverse-meaning-ised to mean good?

With such a long tube, half your cup would be the last persons stale coffee... But the crema does look impressive.

In the video I think they said that it self cleans after every extraction (got to watch it again to confirm)
It would be good in a business environment

rank = bad.. no good, stinky, whatever you like. What else would it mean? Sorry, Im Gen-X.

that crema is without a doubt the result of a crema creation device of sorts. I wonder if the entire spout is temp controlled to maintain brew temps.

Like I said, it will be popular on stone bench tops in mansions for people who would have a built-in otherwise.

yeah I did watch it but I didnt see the self-cleaning so Im not sure how its done - either way you have to get the stale coffee or the flushed water out of the delivery tube. Perhaps it flushes with water and then air? If not, youd have to keep extracting well past the over extracted stage just to fill up the tube to push out the good stuff.

I wonder is it like other super-autos where it "self cleans" after you press the clean button, or does it route the cleaning flush back up another pipe so it doesnt drop in your cup that youve left there while youre chatting... THAT would be nice, but a return pipe and a valve on the end seems a bit complicated.

you know, like "wicked" or "mad" meaning "awesome".

Yeah that looks like a large cup - with so much crema per shot... maybe they put some cadburys cappuccino powder in there? ;D

Re: the cleaning, Id imagine that if it does a full push of water out the tube, then releases it for a backflush into a seperate holding tank, that would allow for air to get in to kill off the germs... Mind you, its Still a very long path for the shot to rise, which makes me wonder how they do it...
