yep, coffee parts do a great service. they sell seals etc as well so you can freshen up your machine at the same time if required. You might as well get a couple of spare group seals, you are paying for postage anyway.

    Cheers

Thanks Artman. Anyone know of a Brisbane retailer of the Cafetto Vanish?
Order it on line from Coffee Parts good people to deal with and ship promptly.

The citric acid is not a good idea as you have mentioned.

The cafetto vanish descaler tub I bought from coffeeparts (480 grams)will make 48 litres of descaling solution and should last you for years, even with 2 machines.

    Cheers

    Bulk descaling solution in Brisbane

    Hi guys

I need to descale my 2 HX machines for the first time so thought I should try and get a larger amount of descaler solution as I will be doing this a few times a year and might as well have quite a bit on hand I guess.

Any idea where I can get this in Brisbane, ideally somewhere on the from the City to the northside. Or is it cost effective to have shipped from one of our interstate sponsors?

Or should I just use the citric acid I have HEAPS of. I realise citric acid doesnt break-down the scale as well so maybe this is not the best option, especially given Im not 100% sure of the descaling history of these machines not having done them myself.
