This weekend, Talk Coffee are having a dual boiler shoot-out which looks like a must if you are in the area. Well I say get with the technology guys, its easy and free to do a webcast on livestream - Lets all come and play

laptop, webcam, livestream.

livestream.com or ustream.tv - both have free services, quality is good with decent internet connection. Users dont connect direct to you so lots of viewers wont bring it down.

If this can get up and running is it possible to tape it and put it up on you tube for those of us who wont be able to watch it live but would love to see it once kidlets are fast asleep?
Not knowing a great deal about this sort of technology thought Id just put it out there.... dont want it to become bigger than ben hur though.

Yeah I want to watch this to see if Ive wasted my money on the Duetto when all i needed was a Lelit.

livestream records for you - not a great quality though, and hours worth would be a huge file. Better off using a hard-disk video camera and uploading later. I would be happy to bring the whole kit and kaboodle in if someone wants to pay my airfare?!

It should be possible to re-broadcast skype. Id be happy to do it if someone can provide the far end!

Otherwise, take a video camera along and you tube it - I recon it could be very interesting...

I didnt think of that - you and I could skype, and then I could livestream the skype session... hmmm... do you have the gear to skype from a shop?

I can assure you that David might be only 1/2 the height pricewise, but hes a plucky little bugger.

Well see if anyone shows  (with or without gear) and take it from there. So far, I have had some terrific shots from the Lelit DB and theres not too much Id change about it. The entry level DB market has another real player and its now a plastic free zone....

would really love to see some footage of these machines (particularly the lelit), or at the least read reviews if anyone goes to try them both out.

wonder if this might precipitate a snobs-only special on the pl60t?? *nudge*

Ive done a test here and can re-broadcast skype on livestream. If anyone turns up with a smart phone and fancies a go, then post here.

Otherwise, looking forward to a good write up!

Be interesting to line up more than two machines though.
Throw in the Breville, Expobar and the Diadema to make it interesting (and others Ive forgotten) , Then maybe the top end stuff as well like LM GS3 and Synesso 1 group.

Now thats a shoot out
