It'll end in tears. The Brita does not work where there is any sort of water pressure. The plumber wanted to change the mains meter to bring the pressure down in the whole house because of the Brita - what the?? A really poor design. Once you throttle your kitchen water pressure so the Brita can function you will be driven mad waiting five minutes to fill the kettle or sink. Get rid of it.

Brita was very helpful through these issues and gave me a full refund and are sending me a couple of new jugs.

Hope you have a better time of it with your selection.

My tap has a fault that has Brita baffled. Turn on the hot or cold water and water also comes out of the filtered water nozzle. Strange one. To Brita's credit they are sending a tap doctor to my place with a new unit to install so they can send the existing one back to Germany to evaluate. It may have something to do with the strong water pressure at my house.
I installed a Brita 3 way kit today and the same thing is happening where the water is dripping from the filtered outlet when using normal water. Phoned them and they are sending a new tap express post so the tap doctor can install it later this week. What was the resolution with yours Whiteman?

No real issues getting good control of flow of the 3 way tap I have, the filtered outlet comes out at some speed/volume though when cranked fully open quickly, enough for the water to jump straight out of the glass again, instant water feature, but its easy to open slowly so not an issue, just surprised guests first time they use it!! Its running through a Bombora C150 kit filter. So nice having decent filtered and softened water on tap (pardon the pun).

    Cheers

My previous Mattsson mixer was easy to regulate. The current Brita is also easy but the water pressure has been cut back by approx 50% because of a valve it comes with.

This question is a bit peripheral but related to mixer taps.
Can you buy mixers that turn on in distinct graduated 'steps'?
I find most mixers are hard to regulate to a small output, therefore wasting water.

Sorry mods, didn't know the sponsors are so sensitive. I installed a BRITA WD 3020 - 90 Degrees Neck. Still working well.

I got a three in one from that massive hardware store chain starting with B, even though they say they don't stock it, a few of their stores carry stock. I teamed it up with the bombora c150 kit. Works great, very happy with it.

I understand the non sponsor link removal rule but if it is for a product you can not purchase from any sponsor (like this three way tap for eg) maybe some discretion could be used?

    Cheers

This is the model I have installed .... Commercial non-sponsor link removed

Took me a few hours but most of that time was trying to work out how to get the old one out.
