    Hi everyone
    Had a bad roast day (like one of my recent batches - way too sour - undrinkable so!), over-catered on the browns over Christmas and they're in danger of going stale, or been given a large 1kg bag of supermarket-bought (roasted in 2010) for the "ideal coffee-snob present"?
    Well, this is my solution - works a treat! After pouring & freezing, two 'espresso blocks' in a large cup (defrost first), few scoops of icecream and milk. Rivals anything from a cafe :-) And many of the espresso 'glaring flaws' like under/over roasted flavours or staleness disappear under all the sugar!

    So, never throw away beans again, and enjoy the long hot summer. And the freezer end up smelling great too!

        But wait - we've got an icecream maker! Now how many shots would you need for 2 litres of mocha icecream… mmmmmmmm
