This happened to me a few years ago, not long before I got the Gaggia.
We were going on a picnic or something and decided that we would make some coffee in the mocha pot to take cold the next day to make iced coffee drinks etc.
OG got it all ready and put it on the stove telling me too turn it on when I got home from work. Which I did. Only thing is, he didnt screw the pot together properly [smiley=shocked.gif]
So I was sitting watching tv, waiting for it all to be finished and next thing...
BANG...CRASH...
I ran into the kitchen to be met with coffee everywhere, a hole in the ceiling, the ceiling exhaust fan dangling and did I mention coffee everywhere!!!!
The kitchen was completely covered in coffee grounds.
What came out of my mouth cannot be repeated [smiley=lipsrsealed.gif]
I mopped up what I could off the floor and decided to leave the rest to tackle the next day and went to bed, which was the right thing to do because when we got home all I had to do was vacumm the dried grounds off ceiling, the cupboard doors, the walls and glue gun the extraction fan back together.
I also then had to scrub the walls and call in the painter to repaint the whole kitchen as there were coffee stains everywhere ;D
That is the worst coffee disaster we have had - there have been others.
