I am still new to this but recently got a Compak K3 with Silvia.
I think I have gotten the grind right. I currently get roughly 50ml in 30sec in a 14g stock silvia basket.
I am still finishing up some of my Woolies Lavazza Gold beans which I used to have with an aeropress.
After pulling a few times, I find that the coffee is much more acidic/sour as compared to the aeropress.
I read the following and tried pulling the coffee again.

The only difference is that I DO NOT collect the first coffee that comes out.
I find that the coffee is much more drinkable and easier on my stomach.
So is it just me or the beans or do other people chuck out the first pour as well?
PS: I have read 'sour' coffee and have temp surf-ed and made sure the machine is warmed up!
