  • Motorcycle café crawl

Any Sydney-based or visiting motorcycling snobs interested in a regional day trip to visit cafés via a scenic route? Maybe the Blue Mountains. Be a great chance for a social get-together to pursue our combined passions for two wheels and caffeine.

    Whddaya reckon?

    Cheers

Sounds like an awesome idea...however, I'm not visiting on the Ducati any time soon sadly...

I hope you find some fellow bike snobs to join you, Bern.

We'll see who comes out of the woodwork. Scoota, I have a Ducati too, a Monster 700. Saoye, what's your ride? Back when I was a lad in Adelaide my mount was an RD400 Yam, a quick twin-pot two stroke. My mates and I would flog our bikes around the Adelaide Hills twisties. I remember the Barker run and the Lobethal run, not to mention the infamous Waterfall Gully road - I think the record was seven hell raising minutes if I am correct. I'm much calmer these days, I like to enjoy the ride and take in the scenery. Age has a way of catching up with us.
          Cheers

I just sold my Triumph Daytona 955i and am now riding a Harley sportster. Age was the main reason for the change as the knees have seen better days and can't have them past 90 degrees for too long. Yes I've been up and down those hills and with much younger riders on their speedy japanese super sports. I much prefer a relaxing ride and being able to "smell the coffee" so to speak
