What's a good ratio to start with on a Pour Over (Chemex) & Aeropress?
Say 5-6g of coffee per 100ml...

I'm a bit of a heretic and go 20g for 230g water in the aeropress, but.....I then add about 80mls of heated milk. If having a long black I go 1:15.

1:15 seems to be a fairly common starting point.

I like 18 to 20g of coffee per 200ml water for a filter style brew with AP.

16g ground just shy of espresso territory (espresso roast) with 100 to 120ml of water for a more condensed (more body) type of extraction. Good if you want to make a small milk coffee.

I like 20g of coffee ground at number 4 setting on the Ditting, with 220ml of water, preinfused for 30sec, then topped up and steeped for another minute!

We've got a CCD (Clever Coffee Dripper) at our office, been trying different things on that in the last few weeks.

A colleague does 20 grams of coffee to 320 grams/mls of water. 3 min steep time, 30 seconds to draw down.

I've been toying with 24 grams to 270mls, same steep time and draw time.

Both are good, I can't decide what I like better to be honest.
