Impressive and cool but can't help but feel most of the effort is wasted by the time the end product gets to wherever it's going to be used due to the volatile nature of espresso. Unless the ice cream factory etc. actually buys and runs the machine.
That crema though, wow!

Some, B52, but I think It stops at the design. The clover is more of a brewed style rather than mass espresso. But similar nevertheless.

This is insane.
As said before, its good to see actual coffee being used as apposed to who-knows-what!

So, regardless of scale/volume the rules still apply, not 30ml in 30 seconds, 3000ml in 30 seconds, the ratio's are there.Originally posted by chokkidog View PostFor the first shot......If you use the onscreen shot clock (youtube video timer) ;-) it actually goes for 29 seconds. (and when the edit cuts to the start of the pour it's already flowing).
The second shot runs from 1: 56 to 2: 27 and that doesn't include pre infusion. :-D
Looks like they tidied things up a bit for the first vid. Nice.

Puck looks a little "wet" !
That would be an expensive "sink" shot if you got the grind a bit wrong
Here is another vid of the same m/c ..
2 kg "dose" !
But i think the shot only takes about 20 sec's ??
...and they really should get some more attractive crockery !

Impressive machine, looks like a giant version of a Saeco super auto brew group.
I can imagine this type of thing could significantly improve the so called espresso flavour of many commercial products.
