  • Two group coffee machine and three phase power?

    Hi all,
I apologise if this is in the wrong catagory. Just
wanting some quick electrical advice. Currently
looking to purchase a used La Venezia two group
coffee machine. I am wanting to use it for home use
only and when big groups of family come over for coffee.
my question is can I run a two group coffee machine off three phase
power? Sorry that I don't have too much more infornmation but if
anyone needs to know anything else in order to help me out I will do
    my best to find it.
    thanks in advance.
    Regards, Anthony.

Not unless it's wired for it. A 15 or 20 amp dedicated (preferably), single phase circuit will be required.
The compliance plate on the machine should tell you what you need to know.
You can (usually) change the boiler element to run on 10 amp but your heat up and recovery time will be very slow.
