Excelsa/liberica varieties
Hey there,
Just wondering, any of yas ever tried the liberica variety? Ive read a lot of mixed stuff about it on the net here and there.. and Ive seen an arabica liberica blend selling online in the UK..
Obviously it is much more impractical for commercial use and also might not have the flavour characteristics of arabica, but I really am wondering what it would add to a blend, or what it would taste like on its own.
Anyway, if anyone has tried it please let me know what you reckon, and also if you know anywhere closer than the UK to purchase any, please PM me the details.
Thanks!
