:-?Article in"Food Australia" March 2007:-
"A- state- of -the -art coffee pods production facility has been establihed in Australia
"using nitrogen to preserve flavour and extending shelf life for up to two years"
"incorporates technology to ensure a consistent grind, sealing and nitrogen flushing of all pods".
What I would like to know is ,if whole roasted beans last only 3weeks in an inert atmosphere of carbon dioxide in sealed bags with a one way valve, how come these pods of GROUND coffee can last thirty times as long!!
Herbie.
