It still tasted OK but I was constantly thinking about floating coffee ground.
Get a plain paper towel (not kitchen paper towel, the light brown one) and make cone from it then put the paper in another cup then pour the coffee you just brewed in previous cup to the other cup you have that paper cone on. Tips: you can use paper clip to hold the paper towel or you can just hold it with your hand, then pour the coffee on the paper cone, you will have the coffee filtered with no floating coffee ground.

As per Richard's comments, I'd get a stovetop Moka Pot. I use one as my backup and take it on holidays, it makes a lovely cup with a hand grinder, meets all your requirements (can buy for $30, makes more than 1 cup, stays warm, no need for filters). I also enjoy the flavour of the brew more than what I get from my pour-over which it similar to a plunger or aeropress.

+1 for Gumtree, but if you can save up a couple of hundred you may be able to get a second hand gaggia and grinder and make a reasonable brew.

I don't like plungers. Should be able to a stove top percolator thing for $30. Pour overs can make good coffee too and are cheap.

It might even be worth putting a wanted ad on this site. I am sure there are many members who have updated and have redundant equipment taking up space .... I have an old Black and Decker Mr Espresso that I found in the back of the cupboard the other day .... but he really needed his brother Mr Cappuccino.
    Thanks. I'll check it out.

take approximately 1-2 table spoon of coffee ground put it in the cup and pour hot water in the cup around 150 ml

If you have a scale, measure the coffee ground around 9 grams. Leave it till all the coffee go down the bottom and sip

I live in the north eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Although I'd feel a bit embarrassed about that. I'd want to pay money back to whoever did that, after I get a proper income.

I am to some extent. I don't buy instant coffee.

Anyway, due to my unemployment I might have to be a tea drinker at home until I next get paid.
