WA Barista, Latte Art and Cupping competitions

The WA State Barista, Latte Art and Cup Tasting competitions will be held on Saturday November 22nd at Typika, Claremont starting at 9am.

Spectators are welcome, come and enjoy the action and sample some of the competition coffees, Typika kitchen and cafe will be open during the event.

On Saturday the comps were held at Typika Artisan Roasters and Cafe in Claremont and wow what a day:-

The winners this year:

Barista:
1st - Michael Munroe (Addison and Steele)
2nd - Rie Moustakas (Blacklist Coffee Roasters)
3rd - Dominic Castledine (Cafe 152, Nedlands)

Latte Art:
1st - Gabriel Tan (Blacklist Coffee Roasters)
2nd - Andy Tseng (La Veen Cafe, Perth CBD)
3rd - Rie Moustakas (Blacklist Coffee Roasters)

Cup Tasting:
1st - Ru -- two years in row!!
2nd - Jonathan Parkes (Dimattina Coffee)
3rd - Matius Ng (Milktooth, Perth CBD)
