  • Chinese coffee beans

While web surfing tonight I ran across green beans from Yunnan province in China.
There seem to be a lot of Chinese green bean sellers offering their product to the outside world.

Ive never heard of Chinese beans before.

Any idea where they end up? Charbucks maybe?

          Re: Chinese coffee beans

I heard or read somewhere that China exports more coffee than they produce, so maybe they purchase the coffee that MoreBucks rejects, and export it as coffee grown in China - just guessing.

            Re: Chinese coffee beans

Chinese have a lot of national pride. Im sure the coffee is terrible. Its more economics than passion for coffee. If a person from china had the choice to drink coffee from Yunnan or Yemen, most would pick from Yunnan.
In the Forbidden city one of Chinas biggest icons and amazing history they have a STARBUCKS in there!!!
