    Great combo mate...

With practice you should be able to churn out some great coffee...

Compak K3 push. Loving the grinder, pretty fool proof.

Machines WITHOUT a 3-way solenoid valve will regularly have a soggy puck because there is nothing to suck excess water out of the puck. Can depend on the machine. Doesn't always mean there is anything wrong...

Sometimes we overlook the important things. This is what matters most:

happy with my shot, good crema, colour and volume all seem to be great, tastes good too.
The body can depend on the coffee being used.Water on the top of the puck can be caused by too fine a grind or under-dosed. But that would likely show up in the taste

The first is easy to fix: try a different bean with good body such as a South American bean or a blend containing it.

If you are happy with the coffee you are drinking now, I wouldn't worry about water on the puck as long as the puck itself is firm, but...you say your coffee tastes good. Why worry about i? Enjoy it.

    Need to fix my shot!

Need some help in adjusting my shot please. At present I am reasonably happy with my shot, good crema, colour and volume all seem to be great, tastes good too. But I am not totally content with (1) the consistency of the coffee, it seems watery and not thick and rich? (if you know what I mean) and (2) my puck is wet on top when I remove the handle?

What steps should I take to adjust and remove both of the issues above???
Working...
