Re: Starter packs for novices
YES!
I am in the process of getting together just that sort of thing.
The bean amount cannot be too small because you will find that in the popper you will want to try a few different timings and you will get through 500gm of beans in no time.
My initial thoughts were a 3kg post pack (anywhere in Australia) and 3 or 4 different types of beans.
The target price would be $30 ($22 of beans and $8 for the Postpac)

Starter packs for novices
Just a quick question now that CS has changed hands. Does CS have any plans to make "starter packs" available from your stash?
I have yet to break the ice in roasting, so to speak, having ordered for the first time in the current poll. (My new popper is on stand-by).
I think many in my position may be tempted by a one_ or two_kilo starter pack which consists of five or six bean varieties. Any chance of getting this off the ground?Tags: None
