Thank you, nice community you guys have going on here. It is my project indeed.
Regarding controlling the (vibration)pump pressure : currently we are doing this by Faseaansnijding - Wikipedia ( don't know the english translation ). This might not work for really low pressures, but it certainly works for moderate pressure.
An alternative approach would be to skip some phases : the hardware supports this too and the firmware is field-upgradable.

Yeah, I'd say that they're talking about PWMing their SSRs (which is not something I'd generally recommend but hey, if they ship the right kind of SSRs it should work ok for the boiler at least), not sure what impact that would have on a vibe pump though.Originally posted by Dragunov21 View PostI initially thought the same, but they're talking about "dimmer" operation, so possibly voltage regulation? Not sure how that plays with vibe pumps, but I'm with you in that I'm not confident it will be particularly meaningful.
That said, ISTR seeing somebody at some point using a standard light dimmer to try to control the pump in a Silvia, not sure how successful (if at all) that was.

I imagine a few people adept at using and coding Arduino or Raspberry Pi systems could achieve a controller that accomplishes all of this while keeping it compact and all inclusive, for quite a small amount of money. Packaging and promoting it would then be an exercise in itself of course; I imagine that this project has been developed along similar lines...
For this level of control in a vibe pump (probably across a very narrow range) one would have to be able to proportionally control frequency inversely, in concert with voltage. Voltage control on its own would probably be very limited in effectiveness and more than likely, shorten the life of the pump...Originally posted by Dragunov21 View PostI initially thought the same, but they're talking about "dimmer" operation, so possibly voltage regulation? Not what I call pressure profiling

Seems interesting. Love how they dropped water all over the power board.

Looks like it could have some potential.
Not so sure about the claimed pressure profiling elements though.
