Still Open All Hours- (ABC TV) - Coffee Shop Disaster

Had a great laugh last night watching "Still Open All Hours" as they tried to open a coffee shop. The Props crew must have had great fun preparing the old 3 group machine that was acting like it would explode any second. The show is repeated today at 4 p.m. and is available on iView. Comedy at its best.

Cool . Thanks for the tip. Iview is the only tv I watch, but I hadn't taken a punt on this show yet.

That was a laugh. It may put many off wanting to open a coffee shop.

I don't know about collapsing chairs but I have read that uncomfortable chairs are preferable as people tend to vacate them sooner.

Not so sure about that, I've seen quite a few places set up by people with as little knowledge of coffee as that, and equipment scarcely better than that.

Couldn't identify for sure what that machine actually was, although it may well have been cobbled together from bits and pieces along with the mods that would have been needed to make it 'misbehave' on cue like that. Appears to be an old Vibiemme machine, although I've never seen touchpads like that one has.
