I don't think anyone has shared this article yet so I thought it was worth posting. (Sorry if it's been and gone already). It seems to be in line with the general consensus on the forum here as far as what makes coffee 'fresh'. The one caveat is that he states that as with anything in science we should always be looking for new truths and not resting on the assumption that what we believe now is the be all and end all.
