    Still, an interesting article and the import tarrifs were an eye opener. Strange that we dont have the same tarrifs on china product entering here... but thats a different story.

    The other interesting quote (which may have been a translation) was:

    You will find a bottle of instant coffee almost in every family nowadays. People even like to send coffee as gifts," said Zou Lei, vice chairman for the China Coffee Association.

    ...a bottle? Could this be wet instant coffee?

    Yup, they could be chewing up a sizable percentage of world production in a few years. Especially with StarChar planning on opening multiple thousands of stores there.
