I am looking for a talented Australian barista/ cafe manager to help me set up a high-end cafe in New York.
I have lived in New York for 7 years and am a successful small business owner. I know the market and have a lot of contacts in the area in construction, interior design, coffee distribution etc. to help make the business a success.
I have already chosen the location and just need someone to go over and help us set it up. I would pay for flights and help them get set up in the area. The package is negotiable but would include a generous minimum salary and commission. Responsibilities would include advising on the setup and design, designing the menu, training staff and managing the cafe for the first year.
I am after Australians because they have a great reputation in New York and are generally high quality and outgoing baristas. It is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious barista/ cafe manager who would like an adventure in New York.
