Bezerra would be a good buy but don't think it'd go down well with the mrs having a second machine. I'm trying to squeeze a few other coffee things into the budget, hopefully a KKTO roaster build.

The Cimbali looks like a nice replacement though

    AlastairMcG,
Bezzera retired awaiting a new master, interested? Still fully operational and all on 10 amp supply.
Consider $300.00 plus postage (that's the killer though!)
    cheers,
    Mick.

Nice Work! As someone myself buying with a tight budget, I'm jealous of your bargain buys and fix ups. I wish my work would do/allow similar for better coffee and keep an good old machine still running. They spend way more on useless automated machines, so stick with my Aeropress for work.

Didn't you have a Bezzera, what happened to it?

Updated coffee equipment for staff room @ $200 cost!

    Dear Coffee Lovers,
Just thought I'd share an updated coffee set up in our work staff room,at a cost of $200.00.(Total)
La Cimbali two group M27 plus HX @ $60.00
Boema single group HX @ $100.00
    Iterital Challenger grinder @ $40.00.
Seriously heavy duty arrangement which enables all staff
to remain caffeinated during any working day.
    Cheers,
    Mick.
