Shed shandy blend arrived today, roasted on the 29th June, had to have a try and very nice, can see the potential so will try again in another week. But then again will probably have one in the morning. Thanks Chris, nice little touch on the label.
Hope you enjoy it. It gets good from about day 10...
Chris
Yeah I was surprised too, I will enjoy, hopefully not too much as it would not be $$ friendly, but all rite as a one off. Have to say its a bloody good deal if I was local.
I don't mean to hijack this thread but Chris has some unusual names for his blends, such as Shed shandy!
Chris, do you mind sharing the story behind the name? It almost sounds like a punch line to a joke, if it wasn't a seriously good blend!
Cheers
I suspect an explanation of the meaning of the word shandy is called for, it's a word not often heard nowadays.
Shandy is beer mixed with a soft drink, such as carbonated lemonade, the proportions of the two ingredients are adjusted to taste, usually half-and-half.
