  • Vidastech E61 Thermometer

I was about to pull the trigger on one of Eric's E61 thermometers at $180 AUD landed when I discovered this for $88 AUD ($68USD) which included postage. It was posted on Wednesday this week from South Korea and it arrived in Brisbane today in only 3 days!! The website was all in Korean so I emailed them and was given their Paypal details for payment.

The thermometer also came with a Vidastech branded spanner and a roll of thread tape. Instructions are all in Korean but it was very simple to install. The Vidastech thermometer doesn't seem to protrude as far as Eric's thermometer and it all comes as one part so it seems very secure. Tested multiple times against the blind filter and no leakage. If you Google search you will find one review tested against Eric's thermometer and although it is doesn't translate very well you get the general idea.

    So far very happy!

After owning several machines I'm not as precious about the appearance anymore but in saying that it is only a 30 second job to remove it and replace the allen bolt.
