  • Appropriate table/trolley for kitchen

I've just moved into a new apartment, and unfortunately bench space is an absolute premium. But there's no way I'm giving up my coffee machine & grinder setup.

I've seen in previous threads other CS'ers have little trolley type tables they've added to the kitchen, where they can have their machine & grinder on top, cups on the level underneath etc. which I think is a neat setup and just about my only option.

Hopefully I've painted a vivd picture of what I'm after. Can anyone suggest/link me to a product they think is suitable? Bonus points if its from ikea / kmart which are near me.

I am an idiot - I found the ikea section 'kitchen islands' shortly after I posted.

Perhaps I just ask for recommendations on what others have done, what they found worked/didn't work and perhaps any other considerations I should be thinking about? Or pics of your setup will help me too.

Ive got this one from ikea stained in walnut. Put a glass top on it for ease of cleaning. Bekvam about $80

Looks more vertical in real life.

It would be a challenge getting the shot in the glass at that angle
