  • Whole Bean Instant Coffee

Anyone tried it yet? Instant coffee with finely ground coffee added ;-)
I was in the UK for a few months and its been out a while there. It's never going to replace proper coffee, however, it is an improvement on normal instant. It's just been released in Australia, there's Nescafe, Lavazza and Moccona to chose from.

Isn't that what was in the 'coffee bags' that were for sale around the turn of the last century?

    They were bad.

I think that the Robert Harris bags that have been around maybe 20 years have instant and ground - I'd prefer to drink tea but if I had to choose between those and instant ... I'd take a glass of water.

        Good coffee or no coffee.

          I'll leave it there.

Coffee bags such as Robert Timms have a combination of instant/ground I believe, do been in Oz for ages.

I bought a Lavazza one a whole back. Tasted like instant coffee... with a hint of finely ground coffee beans... 😂

Yes, that's it Robert Timms, not Robert Harris.
