All those stories about hx machines needing cooling flushes, from the US. Usually set up quite differently from Au spec machines and tgat 110v power supply is one of the reasons.
You are saving on purchase price but its going to be a prick of a machine to use i reckon.
Bad news Padams84, the elements in the boiler in the USA are 110v so the machine will not be usable here, the grinder motor is also the wrong voltage and frequency.
Link to USA parts supplier for that model. Lelit Parts - Espresso Machine Parts
Hey all,
Just a query, i have found a little deal i am trying to look into. There is a Lelit 041 and pl53 grinder available for next to nothing . Downside is they are US imports . Im aware of the lack of warranty and stuff but there look like they have done their time already . My question is however is , are the power supplies/elements etc 120v alone or 120/240v like alot of the common electrical gear these days . And it will just rely on a plug top change . I am trying to find OEM's that will tell me but not having much luck
