Florida woman awarded $100G for Starbucks coffee spill - NY Daily News

As a recent customer to the Starbucks in the US, I am not surprised at all coffee (scalding) can cause serious injuries.

And the question we are all thinking is ... is that enough money to cover the emotional trauma of spilling coffee. [emoji24]

Well, that and why go to Starbucks?

600 mL of coffee served at 88 degrees celsius. I don't know how anyone can drink coffee at that temperature, let alone plan to drink it while driving!

That has happened before, years ago.

Starbucks admitted that as they had a bottomless cup of coffee, they made it extra hot .to slow down the drinkers and reduce their use.

They'll probably get sued when people get heart palpitations from overdosing on bottomless cup of caffeine.

"I drank 7 cups of their coffee and ended up in hospital! Somebody should have warned me about this coffee stuff!"
