  • Tonino Lamborghini Coffee Beans

Has anyone tried these? I came across them whilst looking for new coffee cups and like their black cappuccino cups.

I noticed they have an AU website and offer both beans and ground coffee imported from Italy. Seems to be an 'upmarket' brand but not sure how good or fresh the beans, let alone the ground tinned coffee would be.

Is it just another Lavazza/Vittoria style supermarket offering that I can't imagine would be inferior to (local) freshly roasted beans in an espresso machine?

I'm really just interested in the cups but was intrigued with their branding in general.

Good find! Shame he doesn't have the cups :-)

the descriptive sounds good but not seen much user feedback. I'm. I'm not that intrigued to buy a kilo though

        Hi Crema Lad

        Good pick up.

The brand is from the Lamborghini family (Tonino) son of the car manufacturer.

Placement is generally high end, certainly not Vittoria supermarket.

When we launched in 2008 this is what Andy thought of the blend
http://coffeesnobs.com.au/general-ne...melbourne.html go to post 14. That's a young looking me with my sister at Melbourne Fine Food

The black cups look great although we haven't stocked them here in Australia. They are made by a company called "Club House". We have stuck with the Italian made Ancap version which are in white only with branding

        cheers

          Hi Antony!

Thanks for chiming in. Interesting indeed! And hey we all looked younger back in 2008

And if Andy was a converted skeptic then who am I to judge?! I'm even tempted to try some beans now

I do like the black cups but if they can't be sourced here could settle for the white! Interesting the white ones are d'Ancap but the black aren't. Hmmm decisions decisions

I have just added the Tonino Lamborghini cups to our store. Image clarity is not great, I will try to find our hi res images tomorrow

Ancap don't make the black dip cups, or any colours. The Ancap ones are Itralian made, the Club House ones are made in China I think.

            Cheers
