Both of the above posters are (almost certainly) assuming you are undoing the screw holding the showerscreens in and cleaning them thoroughly as well. I only posted this to be 100% sure, as coffee will always become lodged between the screens. The group & seal above that rarely need attention unless your technique is poor / and you allow grounds to work their way onto the seal...
I just took the shower screen out of mine. Its previously been too tight to get the screw out. So tip him over and hit it with the clutch setting on the cordless drill. OMG! The garbage that came out of there!
Clear water on the of warming flush now.

    Thanks

Goes without saying, don't over dose the filter basket with a highed dose than what will fit under the showerscreen.
That removes probably 70 -80% of the cleaning requirement right there.

blind portafilter wiggle and a brush works for me.

When I remove the showerscreen for cleaning I will use a cloth to get in there and give everything a good wipe out. There rarely is any coffee grounds stuck up there.

I'm a portafilter jiggle/wiggle person, the combination of this and a weekly back flush with Cafetto EVO keeps everything sparkling.

After, or during a session, sit the portafilter lightly in place, turn on the brew switch, lever or whatever, then when water begins to flow jiggle the portafilter from light lock to unlock rapidly for a few seconds, works even better with a blind filter.

This is quite a good video explaining the back flush process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1Vkfj83uyg

    And here's the jiggle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfkwW4GgAiU

After use for the morning/afternoon, I run a clean double shot of water through, to force any coffee residue out of the double walled basket that the boss lady uses. It also unsticks any grinds from the upper screens, without me having to do any work. Mine's an EM6910.

Then to get the coffee staining off the group heads, screens, seal and filters, every month I load the sink with almost boiling water, and add a scoop of napisan. Leave that for an hour, and the sodium percarbonate (active ingredient) will clean everything, inside and out. Afterwards, run a few empty shots through, to clean the percarbonate out of the filters.

I was given a tip about using the dual walled filter basket instead of the blind, seems to work well too. Just adding in 2c of useless knowledge!

A couple of well timed deliberate "sneezes" will get most of the loose stuff out at the end of a session, and then it's just a quick wipe around as suggested by Lovey above.
