Had a job in Ipswich this morning, so took the opportunity to visit Dancing Bean, up the alley and out the back of 164 Brisbane St.
Nao (roaster & my barista) was very helpful and informative, very educational. He roasts lighter than what I had been used to, sampling some single origins I'm familiar with showed a vast difference in flavours.
Unfortunately I have a dodgy kidney that limits my caffeine input, after 3 quick shots I'm feeling the pain, so I'm on H2O for the remainder of the day.
My palet isn't refined enough for me to accurately describe the flavours, so I'll stick to "they were all nice coffees" varying from mild to fruity to "Wow! That's got a hefty kick".
Keep the suggestions coming and I'll try and regulate dialisis.
