I have a troubleshooting question- I just ran a cleaning cycle and the manual says to close the dump valve. Does anyone know where the dump valve is? I cannot make a coffee as the water just runs for ages. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I presume the cleaning cycle to which you refer, is the group head cleaning.
I have not come across that phrase, and I am a manual reader.

I downloaded the online manual, and it says it under the cleaning cycle.Originally posted by HomeBrew View PostWhere in the manual does it say to close the dump valve?

Just read all 16 steps on the online manual and it doesn't say anything about a dump valve. Are you reading the genuine Sunbeam manual or something that someone has written for the machine?
What do you mean by the water is running for ages? Does the machine get to a ready state but the programmed amounts are not working and just keep pouring or does the machine just pour water out of the group head when switched on at the wall?
