  • Best way to store beans?

    Hi all,

I use vacuum containers to store my beans and then I place them in the fridge. I have no idea why I came to do this, somehow I justified it as if it's the best way.

However, I have my doubts. After seeing this item: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E1KFGZS...v_ov_lig_dp_it
I'm pretty sure I'm doing it wrong.

So, what is your recommendation for storing coffee beans?

    Thanks!

I'm guessing you haven't seen the whole sub-forum on the topic? https://coffeesnobs.com.au/roasted-bean-storage/

I don't store it for a long time at all. I usually use the coffee I store, on the weekends, as I drink most of my coffee at work.
But even at weekends, after every use, I reseal it with my vacuum container.
